The Harloff Company was started in 1951 when our founder, Norman Harloff, designed and built the first hotel maid cart. This cart became a huge success and an industry standard. Harloff then expanded its product line in the Hospitality and Janitorial field, offering a broad array of specialized carts known for their high quality and economical pricing. In 1987 Harloff expanded into the healthcare market by introducing our own line of crash carts, medication carts and other specialty carts for hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and surgery centers. Harloff was the first maker of emergency carts to offer custom configurations with interchangeable drawers. Harloff was also the first emergency cart maker to use ball-bearing drawer slides.
